My business will be taken elsewhere from here on out. I have taken both my vehicles to Dave’s Automotive on three different occasions. Every time I have done so they have “found a way” to add onto my bill. The last time I used their service I asked for a diagnostic and nothing else. They replaced parts on the vehicle and ran my bill up unnecessarily. When I told him that there was a cheaper way to do what he did he gave me the excuses that my original part was damaged. When I saw the part I realized it was destroyed not by my vehicle but by an individual. I know this because there is no way that any vehicle in the world could blow a coil pack in 4 different pieces yet the spark plug and connecting parts works fine. I have done frame off restorations and build with both vehicles and motorcycles. I am a mechanical engineer and have worked in a shop before. Just in case you thought I was an idiot that didn’t know what I was talking about. The first two experiences seemed questionable but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Dave’s Auto worked hard at losing my business. more

Friendly, honest service with integrity. 12/23/2013

Ever worry about going to the dealer because they are always looking for something to "upcharge"? Go to Dave's instead. I want a mechanic for the long term, not just until I buy my next new car from the dealer. Scott and BJ tell you what you need now and what you're going to need later so you can budget for it. I've been looking for a long time for someone I can trust. I have three cars and I now only take them to Dave's. more
