I was also dealing with Sherry Quick after a purchase from Christine Neff. After putting gas in the vehicle, I asked how does the Free xm/Sirius radio work, she told me to go home, and find the id # on the stereo and she would call and get it turned on. I called when I got home after discovering this model stereo cannot get Sirius/XM radio. I was told that I misunderstood. and was not allowed to talk to anyone but Sherry who put the blame on ME, and said that was the end of it. sherryq@usautosales.com 1-800-635-8000 ext. 1267 also been waiting a MONTH for the Service dept to get my jeep in for a RECALL, still no word. Crooks, deceiving false advertisment 1/16/2014

Dave Smith Motors in Idaho think they can get away with everything including ripping of the consumers and ruining lives I wasted away a day of my life with these crooks. They are NOT low prices, infact they are well over NADA even on a truck I looked at that was literally falling apart with scratched and dents and lights, loose live wires under the hood which wasn't in the pictures nor in the remarks online, they take lying to a whole new level. They are dicking me around over 496.00 on a deposit I made to hold onto this particular 2007 Dodge truck. any other dealer ship will beat their prices blind folded. I have been had before by dealerships, this one would have been one for the books if I had gone through with it. more

NO HASSLE and I mean it!!! 1/22/2013

I just purchased a 2010 Dodge Caravan from Dave Smith Motors in Kellogg, ID. I initially chatted with someone online on their website, who then had Carol from Internet Sales contact me. She not only quoted me prices but also sent me links to view other Dodge Caravan's to check out. She told me when I decided on one I liked to let her know and she would start the ball rolling. It was absolutely effortless. I received a call from Thad Tucker who took me the rest of the way through the process, including Shauna from finance who got all my information and got me the best deal through a credit union for financing. Within a day the vehicle was ready for pick up. I drove to Kellogg and picked up my car, and after test driving it and signing paperwork it was a done deal. This truly was HASSLE FREE just like they say. I truly appreciate the expertise of these committed people that Dave Smith's has working for them. We needed an upgrade from our old vehicle and it took us literally two days to do it. I will definitely be going back for my next vehicle and recommending Dave Smith Motors to everyone I know that is in search of a new vehicle. KUDOS to Dave Smith Motors!! more

couldn't even get an email quote 12/20/2012

Bought vehicles from them before, asked for email quote on a specific vehicle and all I can get is a bunch of crap by email from some salesman I don't want to talk too. I buy a new vehicle every year, bought one from Sheppard in Eugene, Ron Tonkin in Portland last year and both were bought with email, written vin # including price out the door. What is wrong with these jerks they can't do this? They have lost me and all my families business. more

Service After The Sale! 10/22/2010

I had posted a negative review about DSM. I may have pulled the trigger a bit soon on writing the review, I now believe I should have given the situation just a few more days to see the out come. I am so pleased to announce that Dave Smith Motors does care about their customers, even after the sale. To make a long story short. I not only received a call from the GM, I received a call from the owner Ken Smith (he had been travelling, so that was the reason he had not been in contact before now). Both Ken and the GM apologized for the situation. They have ordered me a brand new car from the factory. But the part that really impressed me was that they told me to keep driving the brand new car I was driving and just to bring it with me when my new car arrives. Their response to my complaint has given me a new appreciation for Dave Smith Motors...I will continue to preach about their great service and better yet the best pricing anywhere in the US (no joke, call them and you will see). They completely lied to me!!! 10/14/2010

I tried at length to contact Ken Smith (the owner) on an issue on how his salesman lied to me to just make a quick sale. I was told by Sherrie Quick (customer service department) and the front desk receptionist "Ken does not get involved in matters such as this". I sent Sherrie all the documentation showing the deception by their employee....I called numerous times but 5 days later they told me basically "forget it, the deal is done". This is the 2nd $60K vehicle I have bought from them in three years, I buy a new vehicle every three years and they have lost out on myself and 20 plus family members that have bought from them in the past. This is past a money issue for me, it is an issue of right and wrong. For all of those interested I have started a site davesmithmotorssucks.com, my web developer is working on it right now....it should launch by the 10/15/2010. I have already agreed to have my current ad agency do a buy locally in Spokane and Northern Idaho to promote the site. I simply wanted the dealership to give me an even swap for the vehicle I was supposed to receive. I have over 20 complaints on purchases gathered for the site as well as several service complaints, would love to hear any other issues. I also plan to forward the site content and my experience to GM, they should not be a 5 Star Dealership. Remember on average for every one complaint there are 26 others that remain silent about their issue. more

Best Car-Buying Experience Ever 10/21/2005

Our family car recently bit the dust. It was a decent car and served us well, but apparently had signed a "DNR". We had heard a lot about Dave Smith Motors and saw many cars on the road that had been bought there, so that's where we decided to start our search. Our salesman, Toby, was friendly but not pushy. He laid everything out on the table and told us we wouldn't find a better deal anywhere else. So we did some checking around and he was right. Their price was $2500 cheaper than anywhere else in the area. I never felt pressured at all and for the first time ever, I didn't feel completely exhausted after leaving a car dealership. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car. more
