Dan's Arizona Repaints Inc

Don't Bother. I contacted Dan after a referral I received on FaceBook. Dan came out and gave a quote. While I was waiting on a few other quotes, I Googled ""Dan's Arizona Repaints."" I noted negative reviews, but wanted to give him the opportunity to explain, since I had received a referral and did not just contact him blindly. I took Dan's explanation for the reviews and scheduled him to paint on March 29th (a week day because he prefers not to work weekends). I scheduled this several weeks out. He had someone call me on March 28th (while I was in the hospital) to let me know that he extended his vacation and would not make it as scheduled. I told her that I needed him to come on a weekend, and she assured me he would come on the 30th. She also assured me that he would call me on the 29th to confirm. I followed up with him and left him a message, but I never heard from him again. I chose him over other painters and let those opportunities to have my master suite painted go by. My master bath was remodeled and has been drywall for 2 months because of his lack of professionalism. I should have listened to the reviews, not his explanations. Shame on me for that, but shame on him for lying and failure to follow through on a job. Also, his paint estimate lists a license number, but he is no longer licensed. If you don't follow this advice, be willing to accept the consequence. more

Upon finding more evidence of a bad job from this company (from a few years ago) and after reading another review here I felt compelled to add my experience. Dan came to my home and told me what his company would do and yes he lays it on thick. He even promised to have the TV removed from my TV niche and paint that...they would clear away dust if they found it, prepare the walls etc and Dan would be on site daily...I never saw Dan again. Dust was painted over, caulk painted over in the bathroom resulting in peeling, wall paint was on ceiling and paint was on furniture and bedding...and they refused to move the TV to paint as promised. Dan's wife argued with me on the phone....RUN FROM THIS COMPANY. more

Dan came to my house and gave me free realistic estimates for three different jobs. They painted every one of the floorboards for free. They moved and covered all the furniture before painting and then rearranged furniture after they were done painting. My neighbor went with a different company and he paid twice as much as I did. As a perfectionist, I only allow Dan to paint my house. Pros: Half the Price of Other Painters, Moves Furniture for You Cons: No Cons more

Dan is an unprofessional business owner. He talked a ""big game"" however never came through. He was hired to paint the entire interior of our home. They finished painting but were suppose to come back for touch-ups during the week. We paid him in good faith and he promised to come back and finish the job- Well, he never did. Not to mention he kept our house key and we had to replace the locks in our home. As the weeks progress we noticed that the paint started peeling off in the bathrooms and in the kitchen. We realized they painted OVER the caulking. There are spots all over our home where they did not complete the job. We called numerous times and he answered and promised to come back again however has never shown. He claims to be a Christian however he didn't act very honest or loyal to his customers.
