Worst

150 dollars later and they don't have a clue what could be wrong. Wanted me to come back and do additional test on the entire body. Turned out it was a simple infection.

THE BEST! 8/3/2010

Dr. Ron Laughlin cared for our miniature dachshund for 16 yrs. You will not find a better vet., or a more caring staff, anywhere. They are always so considerate and attentive and treat your pet like it's their own. I wouldn't consider taking a pet anywhere else. more

VERY caring staff 2/6/2009

I took an older dog that has terrible allergies in with the fear that he was going to need to be put down. \r \r The staff here was so very caring and understanding of my fears. The vet helped me with my dog and he is healthy and fine now.. \r \r \r I would highly recommend this vet to anyone. more

Charged much more than quoted. 4/13/2008

I called Danforth for prices for new dog shots and were told around $150 but at the check out I was charged $250. The people seemed nice and seemed to know what they were doing, however I did not return to this clinic. more

Friendly, Caring, and Knowledgable 2/21/2008

We found this clinic out of desperation while losing our beloved Sissy to renal failure. We continue now to take our cat and dog and this clinic is wonderful. They are very friendly, caring, and professional and have since saved the life of our dog when she developed a rare disease. We cannot be more thankful for the doctors at Danforth and their staff is second to none. more

Love this vet! 11/11/2005

I took my lifelong companion Boots to this animal hospital after he had ingested some rodent bait in my house. I had no idea what was wrong with him, but they knew it was serious over the phone. They told me to bring him in right away, and iIf it weren't for these doctors, Boots would not be around anymore. I absolutely adore this easy to find facility and the staff is super friendly. This is the only place I take my pets. more

  • Danforth Animal Hospital began in 1981 as the "Downtown Animal Clinic," in a little red brick building at the corner of 3rd and Broadway in Edmond. The staff consisted of Dr. Ron Laughlin and his wife Nancy. By 1986 the practice had outgrown that small building and was moved to the current location at the corner of Danforth and Chowning. To better meet the needs of our clients and their pets, the new building was designed and constructed specifically as a veterinary hospital. It received a National Merit Award from the Veterinary Economics Magazine hospital design competition in 1987. Dr. Brian Hall joined the practice in 1991 followed by Dr. Donna Woods in 1997.
