Dance Upstairs

My daughter has been at Dance Upstairs from the time she was only 4 years old. It was always a supportive and encouraging environment. However the last two years have been the best. When the orginal owners son took over it became so organized and has been on the cutting edge. My daughter plans to attend college to major in dance and I know she will succeed because she has been given the tools. Many of the students have gone onto dance with touring companies, with Disney, as well as others. The self-confidence and disipline gained form Dance Upstairs is priceless. They do not focus on competition or winning, they focus on the student and their progress. Yet I must say the competition team is very impressive. National Champions two consecutive years was really exciting! \r If you are looking for the right dance school in the area for your child this is the one. It stands far above the other area studios in all aspects. They have a very informative website. Dance Upstairs is a wonderful place. The students have excellent instruction, they always have fun, and the atmopsphere is so loving, caring, and encourgaing. Everyone is made to feel speical and that they can accomplish. There is not one star student. There are so many opportunies to grow not just as a dancer or performer, but as a person. My daughters can't wait each week to go to dance. We also find the school to be very affordable in comparison to other local dance schools.
