Honestly I have not been here in a while. But the last time the food was so so. I do agree about the Chefs arrogant ways. The restaurant as well as the website when I looked it up was full of "I am so Great" propaganda. Please deliver on the plate instead. Anyway I have heard they closed. So good bye to anouther mediocre restaurant. more

high quality casual dining 9/3/2009

I am an occasional patron of this establishment and the previous 1-star review makes no sense. I will assume that reviewer has a grudge or was talking about the wrong place, as there is no way the owner would behave in the way described and the food is well above average. The food is consistently excellent and you can have a great view of the river from your table. Definitely recommended. more

Great Food, Great Value 6/24/2009

I read the review posted on city guide.msn and here from your site, Subject: not good Not only was I surprised by the food comment but also the verbal abuse comment. I have eaten at Damian's On the River twice and find these comments totally out of line. The food is always Great and intriguing. I have met his wife and find being abusive is far out of Chef Damian's character. She is very kind as is Chef Damian. This person must have a grudge and goes to these lengths to spread untruths. It is a shame "non food comments" are posted, true or untrue. These sites should be a forum for food opinions and not character assassinations. more

not good 1/26/2009

Don't suggest. I live in the area have eaten there before when the food was great. Was there this weekend and the food was bad. We were one of only a few people on what should be a busy night. Owner was giving his wife a verbal tongue lashing in the back ground. What she is doing with someone who talks to her like that who knows. Not nice! more
