D'Amatos has a great atmosphere. It's sort of dark and a little romantic. They change their menu really often, possibly daily, so you won't always have the same choices. They offer everything from lamb to pasta to steaks, and everything I've ever tried there has been fantastic. There is a chocolate cake that has hot fudge in the middle that is just incredible. They are also connected to a martini bar, so you can order fantastic (but expensive) martinis of all sorts of flavors. They've got a great winelist as well. It's not necessarily authentic Italian, but it's slightly upscale and has great food. The prices are a little high (about 20 per person up to 30 or more depending on what you order). Parking right across the street is really convenient.
