Favorite Place for Ice Cream! 4/11/2006

This is one of my favorite places for ice cream. It is the only DQ that I will go to. It is sad that it closes for the winter though. It is one of the few outdoor ones left in this area. Their ice cream is wonderful and they always get your order correct. The options for treats are endless. Lines in the summertime are well into the street. Kids love to play in the back. more

The Summer Hot Spot 3/14/2006

This Dairy Queen closes in the winter, which is the saddest thing for any Homewood resident to deal with. At any night in the summer you can show up here and join the long lines to get a blizzard, ice cream sandwich, Sunday, etc. You name it and they will serve it. Their prices are moderate, but what they serve is great. I have been to other Dairy Queen's and never had them add up to this one. Make the trip! more
