Dairy Queen

This store's manager corrected an intentional shortage made by another location. The new Wadsworth store gave me a medium sized OJ when I ordered and paid for a large, then insisted the smaller cup was the large size. When I took the drink to my usual Union Blvd DQ to check to see if DQ had downsized their drinks, they told me the cup was a medium size OJ as I had believed, and then proceeded to replace the medium sized drink with a large size drink without charge. Great customer service I didn't expect. The Union store has always had cheerful, professional employees and delivered the goods without ripping me off. I'll drive out of my way to go back to this store and avoid the new Wadsworth location even though it's only blocks from my home. Who needs to be ripped off when all you want is a healthy drink? more

Dairy Queen may not be fancy, but a chocolate dipped cone can be quite satisfying on a hot summer day. Dairy Queen also has food, like hot dogs and chicken strips, but the ice cream is supreme here. Dairy Queen is famous for Blizzards, and they are a delicious treat. So are Breezes, made with frozen yogurt. There is usually some special Blizzard promotion (like candy cane Blizzards around Christmas), but the usual flavors like Butterfinger or M&M will always be favorites. A large Blizzard will fill you up until dinner time. more
