I work for a CPA Firm and we have used DS Burkholder for years. They have done all sorts of electrical repairs for us and have always provided excellent service, along with quality work. I especially appreciate how responsive they are. They always have the equivalent solutions for any problems we run into and that helps expedite the repair. They are skilled, experienced, knowledgeable, and I highly recommend the company. more

Punctual, professional and good. 1/17/2017

I would recommend DS Burkholder. They did a good job, they were punctual and professional and good. The only thing was that their rate is $85/hour plus parts and I was charged one and a half hours. But I called them about that and they refunded a half hour of the money, so that was okay at the end. They straightened things out. This was my first time using the company and I would use them again if I need to. I was pleased with it all. more

Excellent work! 12/15/2016

DS Burkholder were very responsive when we would call. You can get someone readily available. They did a nice job for us recently, just excellent work. They were here when they said they would be here. We're actually having a change up, and they're doing another service for us free of charge. We had white outlets installed, and we wanted another color, and they're doing it for free, the outlets and plate covers. So I'd say that they're very flexible. Everything's come out great so far. The customer service has been great, really nice, no problem at all. The guys were very friendly and easy to work with. We've used them in the past, we keep coming back because of their reliability. I would tell a potential customer of theirs that they're reliable, do a good job, and I would recommend them. more

Great work, reliable service 11/15/2016

I am quite happy with how the work from DS Burkholder went for us. We had them come out to repair our skylights, and they were very easy to get an appointment set up with. The workers who came out were very courteous and clean, and the job itself was done very quickly and without any issues. I will definitely be using DS Burkholder again, and I highly recommend their services! more

They have taken care of everything I've needed 10/27/2016

I've been using DS Burkholder for a couple of years now and they are absolutely fine. They have taken care of pretty much everything that I've needed, from basic repairs to trouble shooting everything so far. They have pretty much done everything except for wiring the whole house. I keep on using them you know so I would recommend them to people. more

So Relieved We Found DS Burkholder 10/13/2016

We had two electrical issues in our home that were causing us a headaches with high electricity bills. We'd called other repairmen and were quoted astronomical prices that made us cringe. The quality of the service from DS Burkholder far exceeded our expectations. They fixed the electrical problems downstairs and installed an AC and also a heater in the family room. They had no problems finding the issues. And even better, their prices were so much lower than others we'd been quoted. It was a such a relief because we were scared of paying a lot of much money for someone to come and look and not even find the problem. We'd call them again in a heartbeat! more

DS Burkholder were punctual and they do a good job. They clean up after themselves, don't leave a mess or anything which is great. We've used them in the past and every time it's been a good experience. more

They were quick and I would hire them again 5/25/2016

DS Burkholder installed three new ceiling fan boxes for me and I'm very happy about the job they did. I liked how quick they were to call me back and get out here, which took only maybe about two hours tops. The electricians cleaned up after themselves, and I thought the price that was charged was better than some. It was my first time using them, and I will call them again because I had a good experience. more

Job well done 4/22/2016

DS Burkholder did two jobs for me. The first job they did a new electrical service, came in, did the job, and put a new box in. And everything was done the way they said they would do it. The second job they rewired the entire house. They came in with 3-4 guys and did the job in a timely, professional manner. The pricing was good. They did a good job both times, and I would recommend them to others. more

I have been doing business with DS Burkholder for two years, and they are very professional. They are in the middle of doing two jobs for us worth $100,000, and everything is working out in an excellent way. Bob is very professional and thorough. Their staff shows up on time to do their jobs, and they don't try to back charge or change orders. more

Polite, Thorough and Consistent Quality Work 3/20/2014

Our experience with DS Burkholder has been fantastic. They are always prompt and on-time, provide good consistent quality work and have a good understanding as to what we ask and what needs to be done. They generally send the same technician and our company has been using their services since before I worked here. We work in an older plant and they do a great deal of modifications and work to keep it up to date and in working order. I would highly recommend DS Burkholder's to anybody in the nearby area in need of service. - Modifications of older plant in keeping it up to date - They have been working with the company years more

I can only say good things about them 2/20/2014

DS Burkholder is wonderful. They were the builders' electrician so they did all the electrical work in putting the house together. They were very open and amenable to changes or extras I wanted. Post-settlement, I had them back to add more dimmers and additional work. They were extremely responsive to that. One of the biggest things is that during the past snow storm, the power went out and we're fortunate to have a generator but we were having problems with it. So I called DS Burkholder and they sent a guy out here in the bad weather and 45 minute drive twice and he was very kind. Everyone I've ever had dealings with were great. I can only say nice things about them. more

DS Burkholder is the best electrical contractor there is. Knowledgeable, honest, quality work, and friendly. We had our home built in 2005 with DS providing the electrical work. We have had them do more work over the years and always been of the highest quality. more

The work that I contracted for was done professionally. There is only one thing that needs to be tweaked, and that is the 'timer' at the front entry and the garage light. I beleieve that the timer... 3/18/2011

The electricians were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, & worked well together. It was a rainy day the day my work was performed, and the electricians did not have to be told to remove their shoes upon entry to my home. That in and of itself, showed me that they will treat your home as if it were their own. You do not have to worry about this company performing your electrical work. I will have them return in the near future to do some other electrical work that I am considering having done. more

I can tell you right now, I would give DS Burkholder the highest rating you could ask me across the board. I've been with this institution now about 20 years, and they are the best electricians. The work, the service, the people: the best! I think they're just good, honest people, and they care about what they're doing. They do the best work I've ever seen. Their work speaks for them. Excellence in workmanship and service. 1/26/2011

We have 4 different locations, and we have used them at every one of them over the years. I first started using them when they did some wiring at my home resident, about 25 years ago. I helped my dad with his electrical work as a boy, so I know enough to know if something is done well or just average. DS Burkholder always makes sure that everything is lined up and straight. All of their wires are neatly organized, and nothing is ever twisted, which is unusual in their line of work. I could probably walk into a building and know by the way it looked if DS Burkholder had done the work. I don't know of anyone that is as good as them in this area. All of my experiences have been very positive. 1/24/2011

We built a new home, and D.S. Burkholder was the electrical contractor for the job, but all the work was done under the direction of the general contractor. Lester also did some work for us that was not within the scope of the original job. I was very pleased with his work and with his responsiveness. I also appreciated the work he did when building the home. The electrical work was very superior. They are good problem solvers. It is important to have somebody who can rise to the occasion because there are sometimes tricky problems in electric work. Burkholder had to interface with another subcontractor who was doing some lighting work, it was a separate wiring thing, and I think the Burholder people did very well with them. All of my experiences have been very positive. I don't have any reservations in recommending their service. more
