Casey Lindsey was prompt and polite when he came to give us an estimate for some electrical work. His estimate was reasonable so we hired him. He didn't arrive on the day originally agreed upon, but did come the next day. He asked for almost half of his estimate on the first day. I paid him, and we agreed he would come back in about 3 days to finish the work. \r

In the meantime, we noticed that a considerable amount of expensive wire was gone. We paid $200-300 for it, and it was probably worth half that amount if sold as scrap. \r

He didn't come back in three days. In fact, he hasn't been back since. The first time I called him to ask if he was coming back, he answered, and said, yes, he would be back the next week. He didn't come. Then he stopped answering his phone when I called. \r

He finally did answer when I called from a friend's phone. He was still polite but made up some weird story about how he couldn't come because he was waiting on a couple of people to pay him for past jobs. (I was prepared to pay him the remainder of his fee, $400, as soon as he came and finished the job.) He agreed to come (again) finish the work by the end of the week. He didn't. \r

I've never left a negative review before, and understand that everyone has rough times. If Mr. Lindsey had taken the wire but finished the work, or if he weren't avoiding my calls, and simply said he couldn't come back, I wouldn't be leaving this review. But the combination of poor service (not answering my calls), taking the wire, leaving the work unfinished leaves me with bad feelings.
