The store is convenient in the past I would say the staff is courteous and helpful. My most recent visit the line between being a customer was past and the staff was rude. more

Customer service is their strong point. But so is the variety of stock. They carry alot of items which most stores this size don't, but most people need. They get it. more

DMI is the first hardware store I found when I moved to the area. The personalized service is priceless. If you're building an addition, go to Home Depot, otherwise, head to DMI for quick, knowledgeable service where you don't have to hunt down a sales assistant for the first 10 minutes you are in the store. more

Service is the Key 8/11/2009

The prices are comparable to Home Depot but the service and expert advice are priceless. You can always count on capable advice for any home project. The only reason I ever go to Home Depot is when DMI is closed. more

Neighborhood Hardware Store 4/6/2008

D M I is a wonderful store to go to when you need service and not the faceless experience of a 'big box' hardware store. They are very helpful and stock the basics that one would need for home repairs. They also rent equipment which came in handy for us when we rented a super-tall ladder when painting our house. more
