Cypress Plaza Dental Group

I went to Cypress Plaza for long postponed dental work.\r My new job gave me a dental Insurance that I was eager to use. I was impressed by the cheerful office staff that actually cared to find out a little bit about me.\r The Dr. (forgot his name now-asian fellow) was gentle and fast. Also interesting sense of humor.\r The divided my work over this year and next year to get most covered by Insurance.\r I am sending all friends. Also very clean and modern and easy parking right in front. more

DO NOT go to Cypress Plaza Dental!! I go to the dentist religiously twice a year & haven't had problems or cavities in over 20 years. They suggested I have a deep cleaning, which would cost me out of pocket. I asked them how much would it be for a regular cleaning & I was told $60 out of pocket. So I left the office & called my insurance who told me there is no out of pocket expense for a regular cleaning & informed me to go back. I went back & I told them my cleaning was 100% covered, but was given the run around. I told them I wanted a regular cleaning & first I was told I had to wait for the office mgr who would approve. My ins co even called while I waited there, but Cecilia stated I couldn't have a regular cleaning w/out the deep cleaning because the DR ordered it, even though it's optional. She even tried to charge me $25 for my x-rays. I asked for the mgr again & was told she went home sick & since it was Fri she wouldn't be back until Mon. My appt. was @ 10am & by 12pm, I was the only patient seen all day. It's no wonder why the cost of health insurance is rising because of providers like these! more

My children and I have started coming here and we love it. It is not often that you ""love"" anything about going to dentists but we do. They are the nicest people, and have really taken great care of our teeth. I have a TMJ disorder which usually makes even cleanings and normal procedures difficult for me, but they go out of their way to make it easier for me to get treated . I whole heartedly recommend this dental office ? more

So i'm usually freaked out about going to the dentist , but when I came here they made me feel so calm and relaxed and the doctor was very gentle. The service was great and they were extremely helpful I would highly recommend this office to everyone especially if you have great fears of the dentist like me more

Beware I just came from their office... they wanted to charge me $414 to do deep cleaning. I asked them if that was my only option and/or if my insurance cover it.They told me that is the only option . Got home, called my insurance and they told me that my out-of-pocket cost is $104. When I call the dentist office back they admitted they were tacking on an extra $220 for extra service that my insur. did not cover (now they tell me). I've heard of some dentist offices being tricky and this may be one of them Pros: clean and friendly Cons: not telling you whole truth more
