My wedding dress was saved!! 3/7/2010

I purchased my wedding dress from a vendor in China. The dress came in and it was absolutely beautiful. I loved it. However, when I put the dress on with heels it was a bit too short. A day before the wedding I was desperate and I called Barbra. She was referred to my by a friend. She did an amazing job and saved my wedding day. I took her the material and she matched it perfectly. She added around 2 inches around the bottom of my wedding dress. It looked like it came on the dress just like that. And I thought I would have to pay a lot but it was extremly affordable. I am taking a summer dress that I wore before pregancy over there for Barbra to make a replica only a size larger. i know it will come out looking great! Pros: Affordable, Quick turn around time more

You'll never need another seamstress! 4/20/2008

My mother found Barbara's services being offered on Craig's List. Of course, I was hesitant about the idea of not working with a ""professional"" out of a tailoring shop, but Barbara should be on Project Runway! Not only is she the most patient and accommodating businesswoman to work with, she was able to create a design from several photos that I bombarded her with! I am so absolutely and incredibly impressed with her work on my wedding dress, that not only have I given her number to my bridesmaids, I have even taken her a few summer dresses to alter! She is pleasant, flexible and professional and I am so relieved that I have finally found a seamstress for all of my tailoring needs! I'll never go to anyone else and I can cross it off my list of things to do-find an awesome seamstress-check mark! Pros: Affordable! more

Beautiful dresses, look just like designer gowns! 6/20/2006

I went to a wedding recently that Barbara did the bride's gown for. After looking at the dress, I asked the bride's mother where they bought it and was surprised to hear it was custom made by someone local. It looked like a designer dress! I was very impressed with the quality of work and will definitely use Barbara in the future when my daughter goes to the prom next year! more

I was so impressed with the way my wedding dress and brides maid dresses came out. Barbara did an excellent job of capturing my vision. The dresses were breathtaking and unique and everyone felt great in them cause they fit to a T. I highly recommend Barbara and her services to anyone looking for a formal dress! more

Beautiful Wedding & Bridesmaid Dresses 6/1/2006

Barbara is amazing when it comes to capturing the look you want. I came to hear with a dress I saw in a magazine and we worked together to re-create it. I was able to have my dream dress made to fit me. It looked beautiful and that's they way I felt in it. I save money on alterations and was 110% satisfied! more
