I purchased necklaces for my bridal party in early June that seemed nice. Turns out they are significantly overpriced. When I asked the store about their return policy I was treated extremely poorly. They refuse exchanges beyond 10 days of purchase. Here is a clip of email directly from the owner, ""How do you think we can run our business when a customer purchases 9 necklaces, holds them for 6 weeks while they shop for something else, and then expects to return them?"" It has been 44 days since I made the purchase. While I can understand charging a re-stocking fee or taking off a percentage of the cost of each necklace due to delay in return, I cannot understand the unwillingness of this store to work with their client.
Moral of this story: don't go to Currents Gifts & Embroidery unless you want to get ripped off with no option of refund. Oh, right, unless you happen to live close by and have the option of stopping in during business hours to make an exchange within 10 days of purchase. But, according to the email from the owner, you're out of luck if you buy multiple items as he ""has a business to run"".
In an economy such as ours it is important to know who is fair and who is not. Currents Gifts & Embroidery is awful and does not deserve our hard earned money.
Pros: Hind site is 20/20
Cons: Overpriced merchandise with no hope of return.
