Cup Coffee House

When I'm desperate and don't feel like going all the way to Wantaugh I resort to Starbucks, but The Cup is the real deal. I love tea and sometimes I want someplace nice to just sit for a while with friends instead of their living rooms or the mall. The Cup is a great place for this! I love their Fresh Mozzarella, Mesculin Greens, sweet pepper sandwich in a Raspberry Vinegarette. It comes with a Mesculin salad in Raspberry Vinegarette with tortillas too! It's so fresh and delicious! Also, good desserts- Cheesecake especially! Nice selection of Teas. Cool, artistic, indie atmosphere- vintage furniture (looks old/used) Warning: Fridays (I think) they have live entertainment which means there is a charge ($2 I think) for everyone who doesn't place an order. And I believe every day they're open they open at 6pm, but stays open late, past midnight. The Cup is excellent. I've been there a few times this year to hear their songwriters. The place is full of couches and candlelight. The food and deserts are to die for. I especially love their pie in a cup. The prices are excellent. The waiters and waitresses there are really nice, pleasant people. I really wish I could pack the Cup in my pocket and take it home. LOL. It's a place to go to get away from the madness of everyday. :) Pros: great entertainment, great food, great service more
