Have you ever tried to paint the exterior of your house yourself? We did. Let's just say that was one of the dumbest ideas we ever had. (And that's saying a lot.) Our progress was sloooow. And then it became clear that we weren't going to finish before summer was over... then before the days got shorter... then before the rainy season. Uh-oh.
