I came to Dr. Cruthfield for treatment of my psoriasis on my back, legs and scalp. His prescribed treatment effectively cleared my symptoms in 4 weeks. On the follow-up visit, he explained the importance of maintaining my condition and prescribed additional treatment to that affect. I'm very happy to finally have some relief from my symptoms and appreciate the gracious treatment I've received from both Dr. Crutchfield and his staff. more

Dr. Crutchfield's method for acne treatment is by far the best solution that I have used for treating my breakouts. All through middle school and high school I struggled with treating my acne until using accutane. I now have a clear face and do not have to deal with the insecurity of having an acne-filled face. This was definitely life-changing! more

My experience with Dr. Crutchfield was astonishing. I had severe acne and he knew right when he saw me what to put me on and what dose. It is crazy to think that 7 months ago I didn't like being in front of a camera and now I love being in pictures! I am very thankful for his work! Life changing! more

I am 17 and going into my senior year of high school. I was done with having to deal with acne. When my mom found Crutchfield Dermatology I knew it was going to be good. Everyone is so kind and willing to answer any question that I had about my troubling skin. Knowing that they care so much and that Dr. Crutchfield was caring and super supportive, letting you know all that was coming next. My face/skin has never looked better. more

They are always friendly and knowledgeable and willing to answer your questions. Before I came to Dr. Crutchfield for my acne problem, I had no self-confidence as a teenager. As time progressed, I found myself being more outgoing and wanting to be more involved. Coming to Charles E. Crutchfield, III for my acne condition was a life-changing experience and has made me a whole new person. My last appointment here was 1 day before I turned 18 and Dr. Crutchfield did a great job turning me into a stud before I go on my own in the world. Again, I am overwhelmed with appreciation. I had this nagging dry skin that persistently itched, causing little cuts on my hand. With the hand-therapy treatments and phototherapy, my hand was back to normal in just a few weeks. It was such a relief! Now my hands look the same and with daily lotion they feel so much better. Dr. Crutchfield is truly an amazing and gifted doctor! Phototherapy treatments were awesome; I could see results after just one week. It is such an amazing tool. more

After going to several doctors (Family medicine, Allergists, Derms,etc.), I still did not have an answer to my terrible itching. No one could figure out what was wrong! My symptoms were to the point I couldn't even study for school and I was in tears. I was referred to Dr. Crutchfield by Amanda C. and could not thank her enough for that. I felt very welcomed here and felt that Dr. Crutchfield truly wanted to help me- I wasn't just another patient to get through. He and his staff were so friendly and very helpful! I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Crutchfield to everyone. more

Dr. Crutchfield listened to my concerns about my acne and we mutually agreed that isotretinoin (accutane) was the best long-term route to take. He saw me through the 8 month course and answered all my questions. He's a very genuine, professional and knowledgeable dermatologist. I would recommend him to my family and friends. Like many patients living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, meeting new doctors and specialists becomes routine. This disorder caged my body - without medication, my skin would crack and create reptillian-like scales and my joints would be inflamed and stiff. I felt dibilitated and restricted. Having lesions on your body can be embarrassing and sometimes shameful. I had high hopes coming into Crutchfield Dermatology, and after a month of their treatment I have found a new lease on life. For the first time in 10 years I went to the beach! I feel liberated! more
