What a great Weekend in Chicago! 12/17/2008

\r My husband travels frequently for business, and stays at the Avenue Hotel in Chicago, Illinois. With our hectic work schedules, we decided to combine a business trip with a romantic get-a-away for our fifth anniversary. I thought the Avenue Hotel would be a good choice since it looked so inviting on the website, and my husband said he found the rooms comfortable and the staff very friendly. To celebrate this special occasion, my husband booked a deluxe room. Our room was lovely and well furnished and the Zebra chair was right up my ally. \r \r Our weekend included fine dinning and shopping just steps away on the Magnificent Mile. The only bad thing was there were too many shoppers due to the holiday season, but that was to be expected I guess. There was also a wedding at the hotel the weekend we were there and the whole place looked beautiful and reminded us of the reason for our trip ? our Fifth Wedding Anniversary. The Bride and Groom were so cute and we were able to stop them in the foyer and wish them well.\r \r If you are going to Chicago the Avenue Hotel is the perfect place to stay for business or pleasure?you will not be sorry.\r more

We Loved It! 11/23/2008

Our family travels quite a bit so we've had lots of hotel "experiences". The Avenue Hotel in Chicago was one of our most pleasant stays. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel clean. Each employee that we encountered seemed to enjoy their work and performed in top form. I believe this also reflects on the management - happy work environments create happy workers! The view from the Sky Lounge on the 40th floor is breathtaking, and we enjoyed our breakfast there each morning before venturing out for the day, even the young ones thought it was cool. This hotel is in the heart of it all and within walking distance to great shopping, site seeing, and restaurants. I could go on and on but you really need to see it for yourself. If you go to Chicago stay at the Avenue Hotel! The Jones family will definitely be back. more

Took very good care of a group of 8 3/14/2008

My boss sent 8 of his top workers to Chicago to head a large important meeting for him. We stayed here, at first I thought it was going to be some cheap stay just because in California the Crowne Plaza's aren't so fancy.\r This one was fancy and nice.\r They took great care of us at our stay. Answered various questions that we had and never gave us attitude for asking them for different wake up call times. more

great place to relax and unwind 3/14/2006

my husband and i wanted to do something different for our anniversary. we found a babysitter and decided to spend the night at the radisson. best thing we ever did. our room was so nice and it smelled so good. everything was so clean. we even ordered room service, we felt so pampered. it was a bit pricey but worth every penny. it was our best get away yet. we will be going back there real soon. Great for Meetings 1/24/2006

Who gets to spend much time in the room during a meeting? The rooms need to be clean and comfortable, which they were. But I highly recommend the Radisson for business meetings. The staff is extremely attentive and responsive to your needs and will make sure that every thing is the way you want it.
