My family has used crowley and sons for years. When i started to do my taxes naturally I used them . I have used them for about 13 years . Every time I do my taxes I have a simple short form ( no children , no deductions etc) Very simple and easy . Takes no less then 5 minutes to punch in the numbers . I went sat down with them handed them the paper and came back in a couple of days . It gives them time to pretend they are doing something . When i return to pick them up they can not find them ( i actually called them and said i was coming over right now to pick them up ).I sat and waited for about a 1/2 - 45 min . I finally stood up and said is everything ok ! They forgot i was sitting there ( there was only two people in the place ) Then i proceeded to wait while they continued to look frantically through draws . They finally find it and it was not even done . So then i had to wait for it to be ""reviewed"" ( meaning they haven`t started it yet ). Then finally i sit down with the lady she tells me 150 dollars . Which is very high considering i am a sort form with no deductions . Every year since i have been going to them they raise the price 50 dollars . I usually would just go there because they did e file and it was fast . I was told by the lady it would be in my account no later then the 4th . So i wait and call on the 10 to find out what is going on and lady has no clue what is going on . Very reassuring ! Then she puts me on hold and says she has to call me back . She calls me back about 45 min later and still has no clue what is going on ! She tells me to check there web site ! Why am I paying you to do my taxes again ? I work with a lot of people who go to ""accountants"" which they are not !! For the prices they charge they should be a license accountant or at least know what is going on ! My co workers do not even pay the price i do for there whole family and there business account ! Now I still do not have my tax returns in my account . So next time i will use turbo tax for 20 bucks ! They really need to get it together !!! Totally rip off !!!
