I have used Crossroads Animal Clinic since my baby was a newborn. She is almost 5 now. I have never had any issues with them until I boarded my lil girl for a couple of days in March of 2010. When I got to pick her up she had this patchy irritation all over her ears, they back of her ears was bloody, her chin and nose was bloody and I was appalled by what I saw. I asked to speak with Dr. Nelson and she said “yeah she had some separation issues and rooted on the ground and on the cement floor to make her chin and nose bloody.” I asked then why didn’t someone call me and let me know she was having any issues and her response was “ it wasn’t bloody enough to call.” I told her ANY blood was enough to call me because she didn’t have any issues when I brought her to you guys and now shes leaving looking like shes been in a dog fight. Dr. Nelson gave me some pads to clean her ears with and said they next time you are in here if these don’t clear it up we will look at it again when you bring her in and we will do something else. I a little better about the situation due to Phoenix had never had any issues until she stayed in their facility and it seemed like Dr. Nelson was going to make it right. Boy was I wrong!\r

I had to board her again in 07/2010 for one night. I took her bed, blanket, old t shirts of mine, toys, treats, and food with VERY specific instructions if she has ANY issues to call me IMMEADIATELY! When my friend picked her up her bed was soaking wet, bloody marks all over her bed, blanket and t shirts. NOONE called me to let me know she had any issues. When I dropped her off I told them what Dr. Nelson had said the last time I was in there and told them I needed her to do something about the issue at hand. When I dropped her off we signed a form saying they would give her a flea bath in and flea bath out ( which never happened according to Jennifer today due to they didn’t get to it in time due to the time we picked her up.)They close at 12 on sat so they know what time the animals are going home! My friend picked her up and took everything home but no bill. They only sent some vet solution ear cleaning wash and otomax. I called and asked what I owed since I was out of town, the rude girl at the front told me don’t worry about it we will send you a bill. So on 09/02/2010 I get a bill for my 07/03/2010 boarding. 2 months later and its $102.82 which includes boarding fee, interceptor (which I never got) exam fee, and the wash and otomax. I called 2 days ago to speak to Dr. Nelson and had to leave a message. I didn’t hear back from her so I called today to speak with her. First I was told she was busy by Chelsea this am and then I told Chelsea I need her to fax over my records because I would be taking Phoenix somewhere else. She got my fax number but the fax never came. I called back and spoke with Jennifer and she did everything but help. She ran around in circles and made excuses and told me they didn’t fax it because I owed a balance on a bill. I told her how I felt the bill was incorrect and she informed me only Dr. Nelson could make changes to the bill. I told her Dr. Nelson hasn’t called me back in 2 days so where do we go from here. She wanted to throw a form up that I signed when I brought Phoenix in saying they could treat, and I explained it also said you give a in and out bath and you didn’t I am requesting a copy of Phoenix’s records and they would not give them to me. I called back and spoke to a Rebecca and she said I could not get a copy of the records per Dr. Nelson. I want to take my animal to another vet but I have to have the records and they are refusing. \r
