Not for the faint of heart 8/26/2008

I'm definitely not what you'd call a great (or even good) golfer, but this course is so hard it borders on not-fun. There's so many hazards, most of which don't feel organic or natural to the course, but just kinda thrown in to gobble up your golfballs. I don't mind losing a ball to a lake, but i do mind losing one to a gratuitous ditch with high grass and mud right in the middle of the fairway. Expect to lose a ball (or even two) on every hole. Other than that, the facility is ok - there's a decent putting green, snackbar/grill, but no driving range. I've never had problems with parking like other reviewers.\r \r Note: Don't even bother trying to use the Entertainment Book coupon here - i've been shafted twice while using coupons. Once the guy tried to explain that ""buy one get one free"" somehow equaled $1.50 off of $22, and wouldn't budge. That's some service there. Pros: Good if you want a challenge Cons: Pricey; they never honor their own coupons more

Great course that is always in great condition. The greens are hard and fast. The fairways require good management. Challenging but very fun to play. Not fun to play if you can't hit straight. Pros: great condition, nice staff, pretty drinkcart girl Cons: not enough parking, no practice range, priced high more

5 out of 10 7/17/2002

I've played this course for 5 years. 3 months out of the year it's in great condition. I golf 60 rounds per yr in the area and notice more ball marks on these greens that anywhere else. I think they forgot how to top dress or something. Good, but short design although you'll feel like your playing some holes over again. Greens usually roll true but usually slow 9 months out of 12. Their neighbor Falls Village is much better for only a few dollars more. Crossing not worth $50 during prime time. Frequently the ball washers don't even have water ....little thought to where tee markers go...I wouldn't drive out of my way this course unless you are playing your second 18 at Falls Village. It's amazing how under the same conditions (they are 5 miles apart on hwy 98) FV is consitently in much, much better condition. Pros: getting a tee time Cons: condition, green speed more
