This is the cutest little coffee shop located in a strip mall on Rt. 77 in Mullica Hill. When you walk in, you may be reminded of a very popular national coffee shop in terms of decor, but that's where the similarity ends. The atmosphere is very friendly and the chairs are very comfy.
The Crescent Moon offers roasted coffees from around the world. The beans are roasted in-house and boast only beans from farms and coops that care about quality.
The menu offers much more than the regular array of flavored lattes, coffee drinks and teas. There are also inventive drinks with cute names like The Aurora Berryellis (which sounds yummy). Other offerings include signature chocolate drinks, frozen coffee drinks, and fresh fruit smoothies. The best part about the cafe is that they also offer salads, sandwiches and more importantly, sweets from LeBus bakery in Philadelphia.
On my first visit I sat in the comfiest chair in the cafe and sipped on a vanilla latte. My husband had a tropical fruit smoothie which he claims tasted like pure fruit. He loved it, even though it did take more than 5 minutes to get it.
I am definitely going back to check out the sandwiches and sweets with a girlfriend of mine. It's a great place to hang out and chat. Oh, and they also have entertainment on some nights! Check out www.cmcoffee.com.
