Awesome preschool program 11/24/2005

My son was at Creative Montessori for 2 years and we were extremely pleased with the school. He was there only for the preschool, and we chose to send him to public kindergarten when he turned 5, but we are very glad that he was able to go there when he was 3 and 4. It played a huge part in his current self-confidence and outgoing personality. I would recomend Creative Montessori for any preschooler! more

Best School in Birmingham 10/24/2005

The preschool program is outstanding. Each child progresses at their own pace. If a child can read, they are allowed to do more advanced reading skills. If they can do math, they are given lessons that meet their needs. The teachers are excellent and teach each child individually. Definitely worth the money a private school costs. PROS: Children progress at their own pace. CONS: Expensive more

  • Established in 1968, Creative Montessori School is a private, nonprofit educational organization that administers an elementary program for students. It serves more than 200 students in preschool through grade six. The school s curriculum includes science, physical education, French and social studies. Creative Montessori School coordinates half- and all-day educational programs for children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years. It provides early childhood education and after-school care programs. The school also offers instruction in math, art, music and language arts. It offers opportunities for students to participate in various cultural study groups, including creative writing, art history, cooking, pottery, drama and economic studies. In addition, Creative Montessori School has a soccer club that is operated by parent volunteers.
