I am so disappointed in Creative Child daycare. They do have nice people who work there that do care about kids but it is so evident that there is a lack of leadership, organization, and communication on the way it is run. When my 3 year old went through a phase when he was struggling in the classroom setting there was a complete lack of professional communication, teamwork, and intervention. I will never forget the rude, incompassionate, and judgemental way the director approached me about it. Even other staff members there privately discussed with me how disappointed they were in the complete lack of intervention and the director's handling of my son's issue which they assured me was not that uncommon. It was only when my son began at a new daycare that I was blown away at the comparison. The level of communication, teamwork, and intervention was excellent. They also assured me that the struggles my son was having in the classroom were not uncommon for a 3 year old (particularly being a child with a speech delay which was considered in their approach). A few minor adjustments were made to his routine and environment and literally in a few weeks the issues my son was having in the classroom were eliminated. I am so thrilled my son is happy and thriving again. I am also relieved not to have to deal with the issues going on at Creative Child. I am so thoroughly disappointed in Creative Child daycare. more

I love Creative Child! It is the most thoughtfully run day care in this area. I sent my own children here years ago and now my grandson attends. Unlike the comment below, they do, in fact have locks on both doors - you enter by using a key pad with your personal number. These teachers and administrators are extremely professional and so wonderful with the children. Very high standards here. I would (and have) recommend it to everyone! more

The professionalism of the staff is extrodinary. They show compassion for each child as if they were their own. My 2 c hildren have been attending for about 11 months and they love it! They have learned so much and love coming to school. The center is very clean and well maintained. The staff is always willing to go the extra mile. It's refreshing to drop off my children in the morning and see a big smile and warm welcome on the teachers face when we walk in. I recommend this center to anyone! My daughter has been attending Creative Child since she was 6 months old. She is now almost three. I have been thrilled with the care she has received and the abundance of knowledge she has gained through the program. My husband and I toured many day care centers and Creative Child stood out from the rest. Walking through the halls and peeking in the rooms I see the children are happy and the teachers are always actively involved with them. The center is immaculate and I have found that the staff is always caring and welcoming when we have questions. The only drawback is the fact that the doors are not locked like many other centers, however, they share the building with the Heritage Center and cannot have the doors locked. Every time my daughter has moved to a new classroom, however, the teachers have been vigilant about asking to see identification when we pick her up until they know who we are. Even when my mother-in-law picked her up they asked her for identification as well. I feel my daughter is very safe and she has always adored her teachers. They are there because they love children and they are all amazing at their jobs. I never liked the idea of sending my baby to a day care center until I discovered Creative Child. Now I will be sending my next child at four months of age and know that they will be loved and cared for as if they were home with me. If you are considering Creative Child for your child please take a tour and I'm sure you will find it to be the special place that it really is. What fteacher forgot to mention is that her child continued to attend the day care after the miscommunication with the parent and the teacher of the room and did not update the important information with the proper staff, which were unable to reach the parent at a critical time. Not being able to reach the parent of the child who is injured or ill is just irresponsibility on the parent's part. All 3 of my children have attended this day care and have flourished socially and academically. The center is clean, warm and welcoming. I would not recommend this preschool. It has muliple entrances that are not locked regardless of the reasoning, the check in procedure is lax at best. No cameras or security measures since they ""lost"" my child and called the wrong parent. The fact remains that no one saw me take my own child from the preschool which means ANYONE could have. The front office administration was unprofessional in its admission of any wrong-doing, what I experienced were the waxings of desperation and blame. Most likely an apology and humility would have served them well in this situation. The less than professional attitude had us shaking our heads. We ALWAYS maintained our responsibility of blame in this situation however, we were treated like it was completely our liability for them not knowing our child was missing. more

My child was enrolled at Creative Child for less than six months. I thought the office staff, including the director, was miserable! The lay out of the Center itself was nice, but it became apparent that the center was not properly cleaned or taken care of. My son came home with pink eye twice and would develop rashes/hives weekly (to the point where my son needed to be allergy tested at 18 months old). The only allergy he had was to dust mites. I asked about the pink eye and was told, ""No, there isn't any pink eye in his class."" I then overheard another parent talking about her son's pink eye medication with the teacher. more

As an employee for the center and parent who sends their daughter there, i see many children learn their alphabet, colors, numbers and shapes. The children are given excellent care throughout the day well they are at the center. There is a caring, loving staff who work with the parents to help the child not be too upset that mom and or dad are leaving for work. The staff in the baby room do an amazing job at helping me to get my daughter not so clingy to me when i drop her off. I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking for a place that works with the children to develop the child's large and small motor skills but yet make learning fun.
