Editorial review from Citysearch 1/27/2013

This place is just ok. There are many spectacular bowling alley's around the country, this is not one of them.\r \r With that said, it is an decent place to spend an evening having fun with friends and family.\r \r I won't go so far as to recommend it, but I wouldn't click on the thumbs down button either. more

If not a serious bowler decent place to bowl, but poor customer service 8/18/2008

Good and Bad. Lanes are below average condition. Some warping, very dry. But games are cheap (Mondays in Summer are $1 per game). Employees are not very friendly, borderline rude. However, never too packed that you can't get a lane (probably due to customer service). Smoke free is definitely a plus. Also, BYOB also a plus. Pros: Smoke Free, BYOB Cons: Customer Service, Lane Conditions more

Good Place For A Family To Have Fun 7/7/2008

I took my 4 and 5 year old here for bowling. It was the first time for both. The lady at the counter was very nice and the place was clean. It is BYOB but I did not see any one drinking on our visit. The best part is that the place is non smoking. That I love! It is a rather old bowling alley but was very nice. I will be back. Pros: Low Prices more

Replace the staff and you have a great place! 7/1/2008

This place would get 5 stars if it weren't for the employees. They are rude and unattentive. I have a little bit of a belly (not much at all) and the a**hole at the counter told me pregnant people should not drink!! The fatty that I apparently am, decided to get a hot dog. It was almost worth the ten minutes I waited to get service. I would go back every week if the service didn't disgust me. I will check back in a month or so and see if they got rid of their worthless employees. Everything else I really enjoyed (especially the B.Y.O.B). Pros: Prices Cons: Employees more

Smoke Free and BYOB......good times for all 4/20/2008

My friends and I are casual bowers and enojoy going as much for the social aspect as to work on our games. Not that we are excessive drinkers, but while bowling 5 or 6 games at other local alleys the bar bill starts to get a little pricey. Here it is nice to be able to bring our own beverages with us, and still be able to enjoy ourselves and not feel like we are being gouged on the pricing. The place is very clean, and being smoke free is a definite plus! We will definitely be heading back. Pros: BYOB, reasonable pricing per game more

Great place family friendly 3/26/2008

Mike must be the 150 bowler. They have a the best lane machine $22000 can buy. I bowl in a league and the lane conditions are the same every week. The lanes are stripped and oiled everyday with a specific program for each league. The lanes are not warpped, they are inspected every year by ABC. The only thing that is warpped is Mike or his ball. As far as concessions, they offer hot dogs and snacks, which is the biggest and best dog I ever had. for $1.50. Eat dinner at home Mike and Learn how to adjust your game in different lanes. Maybe Mike CAN ONLY bowl on formica, wood lanes are for bowlers. TONY Pros: VERY FREINDLY HD TV Cons: STEPS more

Low prices, but you get what you pay for. 1/4/2008

As I implied in my title, the lanes at Crafton-Ingram bowling are sub-par at best. Some time ago, they experienced flooding, and I don't believe they ever properly repaired the lanes or the approaches. I'm convinced that the lanes are rather warped. If you're just a casual bowler looking for a good time, I suppose it wouldn't be a big deal. But if you're in a league, or trying to practice for said league, it can become quite an issue, as the warped lanes tend to throw off your ball. Pros: Prices are decent Cons: Lane conditions are sub-par more

Worst place 10/18/2007

this is the worst bowling alley in pittsburgh they dont keep it clean :( :( :( :( not recommended for kids Pros: the main door to leave is always there Cons: mean people and not a good atmosphere more

In the desert 9/28/2002

These lanes were like bowling on sandpaper. Not a spot of oil. If you go there bring a quart of 10w30. Pros: parking, price Cons: lane conditions more
