If you are looking to put your child between the ages of 3 and 10 in a sport, Covington Community Center (recently acquired by the City of Covington) is the place to try.
Unfortunately, their staffing leaves much to be desired, it seems to be the place that the City decided to cut their budget, I guess the kids werent that important. It appears that they have less than 3 part time employees, meaning that team set up,e tc, takes quite a while to get done.
Their photographer leaves MUCH to be desired, I'd highly recommend not wasting your money on the pictures...
but...
the sports is a non competitive league where your kids are taught skill and team spirit. It all depends on their coach, all of whom are volunteers, but out of 4yrs/12seasons, my sons have had only one bad coach.
For the price, $50 per season, Covington is definitely a place to get the kids involved. If their prices were to raise, I'd expect more, but my kids enjoy it and they do the best they can with the staff the city gives them.
