I have visited this church in the last year. It is a church that is committed to solid reformed, calvinistic doctrine. They adhere to the 1689 LBCF. The pastor and elders are very involved and care about the people. The people are seeking to serve God and there are no cliques/hierarchies that dominant/influence the direction of the church....a serious problem that is present in so many churches. The pastor believes in teaching the truth without compromise, however, with a gentle loving spirit. The people are not legalistic by any stretch of the imagination and leave many peripheral issues to the custody of one's conscience (e.g. drinking, breast-feeding, eschatology, etc.), however, they do not compromise on issues of sin and it is always dealt with by the elders in a loving but firm way. There is an emphasis on missions/evangelism that I have rarely seen in reformed churches. I would definitely recommend this place.
