Country Store the

ICE CREAM!!! That's right,..The Country Store in Leeper is BEST known for the BEST Hand dipped Ice cream around. There is NOTHING better than going to Leeper in the summer, and going to the window at the Country store and getting a hand dipped cone. I remember when they first started selling cones, and the Leeper Flea Market was sooooooooo crowded. There were lines all the way back to the firehall! It was AWESOME and it was, and STILL is, totally worth it! I also like to go to The Country Store to find my mother little knick-knacks such as angels, salt and pepper shakers,....anyting that may be of slight interest. If they DO NOT have it,..she will look and see if she can order it for you (for a little price of course!), but all in all,...The Country Store is a GREAT Family establishment surrounded by love, devotion, and hard work. I give it my ULTIMATE 2 thumbs up!!!! more

When you walk into the Country Store, you are at awe of the items that you find. They have everything from old fashioned candy to nik nak, and a lot in between. Cute little country dolls and decor can be found in every nook and cranny of the store. During the summer months you can sit on the front porch and enjoy a cooling hand dipped ice cream cone. Not far from Cook Forest State Park, tourists flock to this pleasant extablishment in the quaint little town of Leeper. more
