Country Hills Resort

We arrived at dark (and interrupted their dinner) and left by 8am so didn't see anything outside of our room, but I was pleasantly surprised by what we got. I was recommended this place by someone who works at the nearby zip lines. I read several reviews before booking and I read things like ""rustic"" and ""swamp coolers"" and some other stuff. We weren't expecting much but just needed a place to sleep and there isn't much to choose from. The room was just fine. It was very clean (important to me). The bed was fine to sleep on. The bathroom was clean. We had an a/c and they had it turned on for us. In fact, the room was cold when we came in so I know it worked well. The price for the room was really good. I would definitely stay here again if we are in this area. more

My wife and I rode our Harleys and stayed here one night. We had a small cabin with a kitchen. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The entire place is very well maintained and clean. The cabins and motel are rustic but clean and well-maintained. The cabin had a small swamp cooler which worked just fine. The bed was horrible but you can't have everything for $75/night. We will definitely stay here again and maybe stay in the campground in back next time. There was direct tv, but no in-room phone and we had no cell service (at&t and verizon). The wi-fi wasn't working but the staff did say their service provider was working on it. There is a pay-phone out front. A great, quiet place and clean cozy rooms. more

This place had a great rate and excellent customer service. We stayed in the motel portion of the property which had clean, cabin-inspired rooms. Hosts even provided a simple but nice breakfast and coffee in the morning. more

With an ice cream parlor on site, a covered eating area, trails, and plenty to do this is an unrivaled value for the area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice, love the wood paneling! Good size bath tubs too. Would definitely recommend this, especially for the family travelling on a budget! more

A pleasant campground in a great location, with nice management. They have cabins, motel rooms, RV sites, and tent sites. We stayed overnight in one of the motel rooms: it was plain, clean, and well cared-for. more

We stayed 2 nights, mid-week and found the campground mostly empty(which was nice).The hosts were very helpful and friendly, the campground was clean and washrooms were decent(need new shower curtains!). The creek was a short walk and very refreshing to take a dip in. The caves were a very short drive up the hill , would stay again. more

We booked a motel-style room because of the location (closest to Oregon Caves Nat’l Monument, where we were visiting in the morning). The motel-style rooms are basic, clean rooms with no frills, but are well kept and fine for a decent nights sleep. They have DirecTV, so got lots of TV channels, and the room was very quiet at night. The staff/owners are very friendly, and check-in/out was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area and recommend it to others. more

This is a very clean older style motel with the most comfortable beds we have ever stayed in--including those in pricey high end hotels. Add to that the fact that they have direct TV and WiFi for a very reasonable rate, and that they are the closest motel/cabin accommodations to Oregon Caves. This place is a winner. more
