About three weeks or a month ago, my daughter and I went to lunch at the Country Buffet across the street from her school/college. We had eaten there before, maybe three or four times in the past, and it was always good. So, I decided to go ahead and purchase a membership, I think it was only $1.00 for the year. By doing that, one end of the ticket went into a jar towards a drawing that they do every Monday, I think she said. Anyhow, we go get our food and everything I got was from "cold to luke warm" when it should have been HOT. My daughter said hers was the same way. I did complain to one of the "waitresses" that was going around cleaning tables, bringing out food and filling up the containers and she said she would tell "them" about it. I don't know if she did or did not, but we ended up just eating things like salads etc. Which was ok, but certainly not worth having paid for the entire buffet. I don't know if it was just that day and something was wrong with their steamers or what, but we probably will never go back there. And wouldn't you know it .. I received a call TODAY that I had WON a FREE MEAL that I have until Monday to use it. I told her that it would be at least 30 days before I could use as I am on a very strict program right now and she said she would put MY NAME BACK in the jar. Too funny. I wasn't quick enough or I would have complained about the food not being HOT and I wasn't interested but I didn't. I wasn't thinking.
