Rude staff 7/6/2010

Placed an online order and talked to both the sales person and the shipping person (Rick) who assured me that the order would ship the next day. When I checked on line a week later the order was still 'pending'. When I called to check on it I was transferred after a line of questioning and the second person wanted the same questions answered. I insisted that they look up the order by order number and she hanged up on me. more

When I need something different 4/15/2006

This place reminds me of back home. They have plenty of parking space so that's always a plus. They have a great selection of European products. Their meat and cheese selections are great too. They even have Portuguese cheese where as many grocery stores do not. They also sell fresh and frozen pastas and homemade sauces. They have quite an extensive selection of wine and liquor. You can ask their staff for help and they will assist you right away. They also make pastries and have tables inside and outside so that you can sip your coffee or espresso and munch on a pastry. I love their canollies. A great place to do some Italian grocery shopping. more

Huge Specialty Store 3/19/2006

Corti Bros. is a store that has been in Sacramento for a long time. The Corti family used to have two stores but closed one and just kept the original going. There is a butcher shop, cheese and meats deli and wine cellar. It's fun going through the store looking at all the neat stuff. But, I wouldn't buy most of it. I like the deli because they make great sandwiches. Bros. hours are not like regular stores. Their hours are shorter. more

Corti Brothers 3/10/2006

I love this Italian grocery store, especially their Italian specialty items. Their meat is just fantastic, it is of good-quality and it is also delicious. The sandwiches here are good, and I also love the salads, even though they are quite expensive. The wine guy is great in helping you choose the right wine. more

special specialty grocery store 12/15/2005

Corti Brothers has regular products, but it's special because of the international products. Crumpets, orange marmalade, candy of other nations, strange pickles, exotic sauces and wines. This grocery store is a food-lover's haven. My husband and I enjoyed browsing here for a long time, though we were surrounded by well-dressed rich people. Plenty of free parking, it's spacious and an enjoyable place to spend an hour if you love food. Interesting and somewhat expensive. more
