I have only been here two days but I want to say that it has been a good experience so far. I recently suffered a minor stroke and am here for rehab. Everyone has been helpful and friendly. After my uncle broke his hip he was sent to Coronado for physical and occupational therapy. As you can imagine we were all very nervous before getting there. But the staff there was very caring and made us feel right at home. The therapy team (especially Kim) was super friendly and just did an amazing job with him. The food was better here than at the hospital, and the friendliness of the nurses was phenominal. When it was time for him to go back home, the case manager Lisa set up a home safety eval for us, to ensure a safe environment when he got home. That was just one of the little things they do there that was vital to his enjoyable stay! I would recommend this place to any of my friends or family members if the need were to arise. They don't provide water when requested to the people staying there, nor ice if they run out before getting to your room. more
