The menu selection is very nice and everything is delicious. We have had repeated problems with service, but it's not enough to keep us away from that delicious food.

Delicious food at this grill and tavern 9/28/2005

The Corner Pug is a moderately priced establishment with a comfortable atmosphere. They have a great menu with a variety of items like their Zen burger, Irish nachos & St. Louis Ribs, and get plenty of food for your money with their generous portions. Conveniently located on New Britain Avenue. more

Great place to eat 8/19/2005

Corner pug is a great little retaurant on the west hartford / hartford border. The parking situation is a little bleak but you can usually find parkin gin the back. CP sports a solid menu with fair prices. Steak tips and the mac and cheese are excellent choices. They also have a variety of quality beers on tap. more

Corner Pug Salad is the way to go 8/19/2005

One of my favorite restaurants in the restaurant-full town of West Hartford. Friendly staff, good pub food and a great atmosphere. Would highly reccommend the pug salad with shrimp on top. The regular size is only 6dollars and very filling. The cuban sandwich is also very good and the french fries are the waffle kind and seasoned well. Usually a good variety of specials and have fresh fish as well in season. Tons of beers on tap and free refills on Sodas is a plus! Go to Corner Pug TODAY more

Irish Pub 8/16/2005

This is a great little bar in Elmwood that has an amazing array of beer on tap – even Harp’s (mmmm….Harp’s). Their food is also yum, and is modeled after the English/Irish style “pub grub” – the Irish Nachos (made with fresh potato chips and strong Irish cheddar) are particularly good! Also try the half & half pint – half Harp’s, half Guinness – all good! more
