Located in Hancock, Mich., Copper Country Intermediate School District is a service agency that provides support services to educators in more than 10 local school districts. It provides a variety of student services, such as after school program, family and enrichment activities, gifted and talented programs and student leadership committee. It also offers special education programs, social skills teaching programs, outreach program, autism support services and school social worker services. The district operates BRIDGE Alternative High School that provides classes in biology and earth sciences, physical education, United States and world history, youth and law, life skills, science fiction, English, art and math.
