I highly recommend computer lift. I had an old dell 5100 laptop that I have not used for years. It would barely boot up and over heated soon after it started up. I had Geoff take a look at it, he cleaned the fan put some more memory in, reformatted the hard disk and now it works better than it did when it was new. Thanks Geoff. more

Superb 9/18/2011

I dig this guy I had a simple problem I deleted my documents folder to save space on my lap top so I called him up, by the way he was in the local neighborhood listing to help me out. He returned my call right away invited me up to his mome fixed my problem in less han 30 minutes and I was on my way. more

Quick & reasonably priced service, lightning-fast turnaround 8/17/2011

Geoff just did a STELLAR job on restoring my Dell Studio Desktop after it had been sitting in storage. Apparently the power supply conked out. Geoff figured out the problem pretty much instantly and I had my computer back within 6 hours of dropping it off with him. Total bill including the new part was under $100--way cheaper than buying a new computer! Would recommend (and have recommended already) Geoff to friends. more

I Recommend Computer Lift 7/10/2011

I saw the good reviews for Computer Lift and thought I'd give it a try. Geoff ordered the computer part I needed (at a competitive price) and quickly got my laptop back in working order. I also asked him to clean my fan while he was repairing the computer and he was able to add this service for next to nothing (other places like best buy charge a flat fee which is more expensive). Geoff also did a complimentary virus scan and checked the overall functionality of my laptop to see that it was in good working condition. I had an overall good experience and will gladly go to Computer Lift in the future for my computer repairs. more

Quick, courteous service 2/4/2011

Geoff took the time to find out what I had, and then what I wanted. A straightforward upgrade, with some forward looking to future needs. He ordered parts first, and then had me drop my tower off after they arrived, so I was able to pick it up the next day. Only being without my computer for 1 day was wonderful. He was also kind enough to share some info on both setting up a network, and a netflix streaming device, which I really appreciated. I won't hesitate to call him for advice or help. more

Good Service Good response good work 1/25/2011

My computer had stopped charging and I couldn't use it. I called Geoff, got a very quick call back, was able to walk the computer down to his office (although he offers to pick up also), he was very friendly, talked about everything he was going to do and explained the possible problems and solutions very well. more

My computer caught a nasty piece of scareware right as I was planning a six month trip through SE Asia. Geoff responded quickly (on a weekend no less!) and had my laptop fixed and problem-free in 24 hours. He was responsive throughout the process and clearly knows his stuff. I would definitely call him again. more

Great Computer Support 4/19/2010

My computer need a new hard drive and it just seemed like a big hassle, but Geoff at Computer Lift was very helpful and made everything seem very easy to understand. My laptop went from not even booting up to running perfectly in only a matter of days after giving it to Computer Lift. The price was fair and everything was very professional. Happy Camper! ...and computer 2/5/2010

A trusted friend bragged up Geoff a year ago so when I needed computer work done I knew where to go. My old laptop is healthy and happy, now. (It was so sick I thought I'd have to replace it.) My son's laptop will have a long life, too, thanks to Geoff's quality work and client education. Both times we had the computer back overnight and the cost was very reasonable. I've never had an experience this good with tech work! I'm grateful and highly recommend Computer Lift. Geoff Knows What He's Doing 2/1/2010

My hard drive crashed, I went straight to BBB to get recommendations for computer repair services and found Computer Lift. Then I saw all the great reviews on Yelp. They are totally true! Geoff is a wizard and a great communicator to boot. He even called me a few days after to make sure everything was working well and to help if I had any trouble or questions. Great service and quick response 1/26/2010

I contacted Geoff on a weekend about my laptop that completely died due to a virus. Although I told him I might buy a new computer and just wanted my data back, he said that the computer could be reformatted and back to new -- and it was, just 3 days later! I'm glad I was able to get my computer back up and running for a reasonable price instead of buying a new computer. He even followed up with me to make sure everything was going well.
