A word to the wise do NOT buy a house from Compass Point Homes until they have fixed any problems found in pre-inspection walk through. After you buy the house it takes an act of congress to get anything fixed. If anything is missing like electrical outlets or door handles make sure they are replaced before you buy the house. Their service after the sale IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN, you would expect that after paying more than 200,000.00 for a home they would fix little problems promptly and efficiently, but that is not the case when it comes to Compass Point Homes. Make sure to check your sub-floor if you have a two story home, in just about all of the homes I have seen them build (and the one I bought); they do not screw the sub-floor down. As soon as you begin to move furniture in, it sounds like popcorn all over the second floor. Every board on the top floor creeks, shifts, and moves up and down making loud noises throughout the house. To heck with the warrantees try to find anyone who installed equipment, plumbing, electrical, or windows in the house. If you do find out who did the work, good luck getting any assistance without paying them first. I just bought my house three weeks ago, am nobody will come and fix anything without a P.O.
