Colonial Poplin is wonderful. My grandmother received wonderful care here. The staff take very good care of the residents, and the place feels like home. I never felt rushed when I visited. They have a cafe so you can eat with a resident there. My grandmother never complained, There was no ""nursing home"" smell here either. It would be nice if more nursing homes were like Colonial Poplin. \r more

The don is mean and her moods change second to second. I applied and she was all sweet and we have just what you want, then you start and she changes. you ask why your hours changed she tells you she hired someone new who wants them. she promises people everything and delivers nothing. If you complain to ""THE BOYS"" you may just as well kiss your job goodbye. one of the nurses wasn't even told she was getting fired till she came to work that night!
