GREAT HOTEL 9/20/2008

I just stay at the Colonial Hotel this past weekend with a group of 8 other couples. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. All the overnight rooms have been renovated including the bathrooms! One couple upgraded there standard room to a luxury suite. I only have one word for this room...""WOW"" Dinner was amazing the Prime Rib Buffet was to die for. The make your own omelets were delicious at the breakfast buffet! Filthy and smelled 9/10/2008

Our room was filthy. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month. Food on the floor, pubic hair on toilet seat, hair in sink and tub. Spider along with large spiderweb in closet. I asked for another room when I knew they had others available and they just flat out said no. I asked for a refund so I could go stay at another place and they again just said no. No apology, no effort to try and make it a better experience. I ended up eating the $130 and just left. Very discouraging. Pros: nothing Cons: filthy, insects, un-friendly more

Great Hotel 3/18/2006

This hotel has great dinner and breakfast package highly appreciated throughout the region. It make for a great place to hold family get togthers or just for a weekend get away. The staff is very friendly and helpful and makes repeat guests feel like they are coming home. The rooms could stand to be a little updated but the luxury suites are above and beyond. Pros: Great Value, Nice Location, Good Food more
