Colmar Dentistry For Kids

I read the other reviews and I agree that this is the best kids dentist I've ever met. The one star must have been talking about another dentist. There is nothing impatient or snappy about this dentist. She and her staff are gentle, helpful, patient, skilled, VERY good at what they do, and professional. They create a 'play-place' waiting room and an atmosphere in which all children feel comfortable and forget why they are there. My 8 children can't wait to return. They all got a toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, pink tablets, photo, and three treasure chest items when they left. I hope your kids enjoy their visit with this dentist. more

My family LOVES Dr. D!!! She is by far the best kids dentist for kids. My daughter can't wait to go see her every 6 months! Dr.D takes the childs picture at every visit and gives you the old picture! So fun to see how they've grown.Toys are everywhere and tons of kids DVDs for the kids to watch while they get their exams done. My 7 year old is afraid of needles and had to get a tooth filled. Dr. D took her on a day when she could spend all her time with Megan and was able to hide the needle, at my request, from her so she was not hystrical. And stickers and toys are always given, and even a stuffed teddy bear for her cavity!! more

I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about. Dr. D is the best pediatric dentist I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. I have 3 kids aged 9, 7, and 6 and they all LOVE her! In fact, the kids are always EXCITED when it comes time to go to the dentist! She has a very good rapport with the kids and her staff is outstanding. She talks to the kids and lets them see everything that is going on. The waiting room is filled with toys and she herself asks them what they want to watch on the TV - movies are on in the waiting room and at every exam chair to keep them entertained. I have had her do cleanings, fillings, extractions, and spacers on my children without any pain, crying, or uncomfort whatsoever. She is excellent and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND her! The only down-side (if you can call it that) is that she loads them up with stickers, toys, and trinkets at every appointment which I then have the pleasure of cleaning out of the van.... worth every minute to have happy & healthy kids! more
