Coffee and Crepes 6/12/2011

As soon as we walked in something FELT off. The people behind the counter looked miserable! No body smiled, said hi or showed any emotion except misery! The boss in the back looked the same. Their health code was a 96 but should have been less. The condiment table was dirty and 1/2 empty. I had to ask for more simple syrup. The floors were dirty and the area where the syrups were (in plain sight if you are at the counter ) was grimey. Food ..very good. ambience?? Well, lets say I have been to happier funerals! more

Love this place, but... 11/11/2010

I have loved this place for years, but just discovered a little nickel and dime maneuver that I didn't appreciate. I ordered a crepe with ""extra pesto"" and got charged $1 for about 1/2 tbsp of pesto. I don't remember being charged for this before and as a cook myself, I figure the markup on that little cup of pesto is about 1000%! Most restaurants have no problem if you want a little extra sauce or whatever and I wouldn't have balked at a more reasonable charge. But they didn't tell me about the charge (I saw several extra charges go through the register and asked what they were for) and it was way over-priced. So be very careful if you ask for extra anything! I also don't get the $.50 charge for a buckwheat crepe (gluten-free). Jason's deli offers gluten-free bread and doesn't charge a penny extra. more

a TREAT 9/3/2009

These crepes are truly mouth watering and the folks that own this shop are such good people. Service is great - food is awesome and where else can you get a crepe for this price!!! Pros: Great crepes and nice people more

great coffee 2/8/2009

I've been meaning to try this place out for a long time. Finally went there over the weekend (three times!) and they have great coffee. I love that the beans are local and the staff there are always friendly. It was very crowded today when I visited but my drinks still came out quickly. Pros: service, great lattes, local beans! Cons: small place, but there is outdoor seating more

Good food 7/27/2008

My husband and I tried Coffee and Crepes for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered the Western , the Mushroom and Swiss, and a Fruit Crepe. All were very good. The salad that came with the meal was merely mixed greens and nothing else. However, my husband loved their salad dressing. This is not a sit down restaurant with waiters, but more of a place to grab a quick meal while shopping. The interior is very small with a few tables, but they also have tables outside with umbrellas. I would try them again if I were shopping at Crossroads, but would not make a special trip for the meal. I still gave it 4 stars because it was a nice change of pace and we did enjoy the food and coffee . \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r \r more

There is no better place to eat than Coffee & Crepes 1/28/2008

You could not find a better place to eat. Relaxed environment, friendly staff and superb food is just the tip of the iceberg when trying to describe Coffee and Crepes. The Raspberry chicken is TO DIE FOR. The staff knows my order when I walk in the door and they are prompt in preparing it. This place is a healthy addiction (depending on what you get). There is no comparison to other places, they are the BEST! Pros: Food, Customer Service, Food Cons: not one in Cameron Village more

Best place for breakfast, lunch, or whatever! 2/26/2007

I absolutely love this place. I found it when I needed somewhere to spend downtime while my son was in speech therapy over on Jones Franklin Rd. With their free Wi-Fi access and yummy looking menu, I couldn't help but try them out. Now I go there religiously every Tuesday and Friday during my son's therapy. Sometimes I bring my 2 year old daughter, and the staff always makes a point to come over and say hello to her.\r \r The food is delicious, whether its a strawberry crepe, bacon egg and cheese crepe, or chicken parmesean, they are all absolutely wonderful and obviously keep me coming back for more. The staff is always very nice and quick. Even when the place is packed, I can count on my food being to my table before my laptop is turned on and logged in.\r \r Quick, fresh, friendly, inexpensive, and delicious.....what more could a patron ask for? :o) Pros: fresh, friendly, yummy, FREE wi-fi Cons: that there isn't one in Wendell, LOL! more

great coffee, great service 7/2/2006

This place is great, I highly recommend it for a dessert or light lunch. The coffee is also the best in town! I've never had a problem with service like another reviewer has said, it must have been just a mistake. Staff is always friendly. Pros: great food. Cons: can be a little pricey, but not bad. more

terrible customer service 6/15/2006

I really liked this place, but today after ordering, paying and waiting for about 30 minutes (we were the only customers for more than 20 minutes, when 2 more customers arrived), we decided to get up and ask what was going on. For our surprise, we were asked if we were waiting for something...??... If you know this place (at crossroads) you can have an ideia how surprised we were. It is a really small place, with 2 employees working at the time. The employees were busy chatting... and the excuse was that they lost our order - how come, the place was empty and they usually prepare your crepe by the way...Anyway, we asked to have the money back and left. Hope the manager or owner start taking a closer care of it, because the crepes are pretty good and it is sad that a couple of teens (employees) can messy with it. Pros: crepes are good Cons: order was "lost" more

Crepes are great 2/10/2006

This is a great place for a lunch, brunch, or quick light supper! These crepes taste fantastic. New location in Crabtree Mall now...so give it a try if you're ever there! Pros: variety, rich coffee, good price more

Double Fudge Crepes in the city 4/6/2005

I diet all week so I can have a double fudge crepe on the weekends. It is worth giving up all other deserts. The crepe makers are excellent and take good care of us. Pros: consistent, good selections, everyone likes it more
