Editorial review from Citysearch 2/4/2013

I enrolled in the WIA program in July of 2008 to finish my Bachelors Degree in Construction Engineering. I found the program to be a great experience, and it helped make it possible for me to finish my degree and secure a job. I never had any problems during the almost three years I was involved with the program with any lost paperwork or having trouble communicating with the representatives. Since finishing the program I gained employment with a great company and went on to graduate with an MBA. I would highly recommend the services that Cobb Works offers. Cobb Works has helped many of my friends as well with resumes and other services. Everyone that I have encountered has always had great things to say about Cobb Works and the services they offer. more

Unprofessional 12/16/2011

I was able to use their computers today, so am grateful for that, but the ladies at the front desk are unprofessional. There are too many of them and they must not have enough to do. There are only two chairs, but I saw four of them upfront at one point, and they gossiped about everything, including some of the people who had been there earlier and left. Ironically, one of the people about whom the apparent ""head lady"" complained was someone who was concerned about the confidentiality of the place. One lady did help another patron next to me who was having trouble on the computer, but mostly they didn't do anything but chat. more

Not good 1/29/2010

I put in an application for the WIA program on Jan. 20, 2010, and was asked to bring in further documents, in which I did just so on Jan. 22. I walked in and hand delivered the requested documents to Ms. Hand and was given a receipt which I have currently. Ms. Soto contacted me via phone requesting those document all over again, stating that they were misplaced. I informed Ms. Soto, via e-mail, that I was unable to resubmit and to enlighten me if those documents were recovered. Ms. Soto contacted me via phone on Jan. 29, and insisted that I turn in documents for the second time in which I refused to do so. Therefore, Ms. Soto will be closing my case due to their irresponsibleness. Not a good start for an agency that I would've had an indefinite on going relationship with. Well, atleast in this case I will save wasted gas and time in the future. Pros: Potentially a good funding program Cons: Bad intake department more
