On time, professional and friendly 12/2/2014

It was the day after Thanksgiving and the crew to replace our oil tank pulled in right as scheduled. They covered the floor from the front door to the cellar steps and got right to work. They let us know when they were leaving for lunch and when they returned. They explained what they were doing as they went along. They were very professional and did a great job of cleaning up after a messy job dismantling the old tank so it could be removed in pieces. more

The techs that completed the install of my furnace/air conditioning unit did a great job. They arrived on time, did quality work and kept my home neat and clean when finished - in fact they fixed my storm door that was missing a couple of crews! Thanks for a great job. more

The men were courteous and it works terrifically! 11/25/2014

Walton Inc. came and put a central air system into my house. While the men were courteous, they made my attic impossible for me to get around. I am 66 years old and not too steady, and they put the ducts all crisscrossed in the middle of my room and left the stuff I stored up there behind them. Then there are big holes in the floor where I might get stuck. However, what they put in the house itself works terrific. more

The installation of my new oil furnace and central air went flawlessly. The installation technicians are top notch. 11/12/2014

I obtain two quotes to install a brand new oil furnace and add in central air. I am very happy that I decided to go with Clyde S. Walton, Inc. The installation technicians were great, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and did an awesome job. I am definitely going to recommend this company to other people looking to replace their ac, heater, etc. I will definitely be using your company for future repairs. more

Rob and Bill did a great job. My wife was impressed on Day 1 by their courtesy, attention to removing the grungy, messy old furnace without making a mess of the house and their diligent work ethic. I was home for Day 2 and was impressed by their installation skill- periodically having the opportunity to watch Rob's expert technique soldering copper connections (I learned a lot for the next time I'm soldering a plumbing fitting in my house or that of one of our relatives). As stated above, my wife and I were both very pleased with the installation process, not to mention Rich' s knowledge in preparing the estimate and contract. We've been with Walton Oil for quite some time and continue to be extremely satisfied customers. more

New gas furnace installed by Walton Pros! 11/7/2014

From first call to installation of my new gas furnace, Walton really hit the mark with their professional, courteous and fast service. The quoted price for a great QUIET Lennox furnace and installation was $700 less than a local competing company. The quality results by installers is phenomenal, as they retro-fitted an outdated unit and cramped space to an efficient and quiet running system. Final cost was exactly as quoted. Start to finish, the process of estimate, measuring, contract signing and, finally, installation was top rate, exactly on time and on budget over the course of under two weeks. All department reps were wonderful. If you thought Walton's was not for you because you use gas heating and AC, you are wrong! They do it all, and do it all so well! I am forever a lifetime fan and customer! more

36 years of excellent service 10/30/2014

We've been using them for 36 years, and it's always been excellent service -- we've never had a problem. Most recently they replaced our air conditioning system. They're responsive, and they're always willing to come out and talk. They're just excellent. more

My overall experience with Clyde S. Walton could be sumarized by one word---PERFECT! 10/26/2014

Prior to hiring Clyde S. Walton, Inc. as my HVAC contractor, I have had a few other contractors visited our house and gave us estimates. Due to my background as an architect, I was quite selective in terms of whom could possibly perform the job and had the potential to exceed my expectations. I finally decided on Walton because they were professional and I felt quite comfortable with both the salesperson, Rich Moyer and the dream team of installers, Rob, Bruce, Tom and the 2 Bills. They were reliable and very knowledgeable in their trades. I had no worries with my installers whatsoever at all. Job well done, guys and thank you!!! I considered myself quite fortunate to actually have Walton completed the HVAC job for us. It's really impossible to find contractors such as Walton these days. I will absolutely recommend Walton to anyone and I will most likely have Walton do my central air system in the Spring. more

Good service--just fine. 10/21/2014

I would recommend Clyde S. Walton since I've had no problems at all. I sell two-way radios and for years, I did their radio work. I had a heater man for years until he retied and I needed my heater replaced. Another company estimated the cost to be around eight or eleven thousand dollars. I went to the Walton boys, had John from the management team come out to take a look at the heater, and he gave me a price that was around thirty-seven-hundred. I said let's do it. For me, it's real simple: I take care of their radios and they keep me warm. They've been no problem at all. more

Install Excellent 10/11/2014

Derrick & Zach did an excellent job installing a new heat pump in the attic as well as a new A/C unit on the outside of the home. Have had a good working partnership wilth Walton for a lot of years and hope to continue that in the future. more

I had Dave H out today to do a service clean of my furnace, backup oil heat and outside heat pump. He was very professional and explained everything along the way. Also noticed my humidifier wasnt working and serviced it as well. more

New Lennox XC17, New Lennox SL280U Furnace, w/ iComfort Wi-Wi Thermostat 9/24/2014

Went the normal route of 4 proposals, including the idiots from the "Tell a customer anything to make a sale" company (hint think of sun rising and setting), however I went with a company that is a 3rd generation organization, customer counts as first rule of thumb, and a price that was competitive as anyone else. The most important thing I came away with during my researching HVAC local companies, was not so much on hardware, but the installation company, the quality of work, and the experience and tenure of those employees. Great job, nothing rushed, clean and explained everything in detail. I a a believer in using local, smaller companies, and my decision was validated by using Walton! Great job. more
