My husband and I recently purchased a home that had a Closet Smith closet already in it. I wanted to make some modifications to the closet. I contacted Closet Smith to inquire about these changes. The owner contacted me back 10 business days later (their voice mail message says someone will return your call within 24 hrs.). We spoke about 5 mins. and I shared what I wanted to do but was unsure if I could modify the closet to my specifications. Garrett Gerst, the owner, shared he would send me the CAD drawings of my closet and we would go from there. He did email me the CAD drawings and told me the cost of the modifications but NEVER indicated if I could change the closet as I inquired during our phone call. I returned his email within 10 mins. on Jan. 7, 2010 and never heard back from him. I left him numerous voice mails and sent emails and received NO response. Then, he replied to an email inquiry I made through his website on 1/19 explaining he had sent me the CAD drawings and I needed to reply to that email (which I did on Jan. 7th) and he would be happy to create an invoice for the changes I wanted and once that invoice was paid IN FULL, I could get the shelves/valet poles I was requesting. He went onto say if I wasn't happy with that I could find someone else to help me. (Although he is the ONLY employee I've been able to be in contact with).
