Clear

Clear is the worst. Was told I would get great services but everytime I would watch a movie it would stop at least 2 times for buffering. Called and was told to move modem to a window. So I did and all 5 lights lite up. But had the same problem. Even on a clear night. My son can't even play his playstation 3 it would freeze up. I would do every thimg I can to talk my friends out of getting clear. more

I got Clear a couple of weeks ago and have been happy with it so far. The fine print that is not on the brochure is that there is a 2 year contract in order to get the prices listed on their brochure. You can do month to month for more money if you buy the modem up front for like $170 or something. I wasn't too stoked about that so I went with the 2 year contract and am hoping for the best. I have had comcast in the past and was really unhappy both times I had an account with them. So far so good on the Clear front. When I went in to get set up at Grate Computers in St. Johns, the sales guy was able to look at my address on this zoom-in map that showed where all the towers in my neighborhood are located. Then he told me which way to point the box in order to pick up the signal from the closest tower. more

Clear internet is great for online gaming and if you have the Clear Personal Hotspot mobile router, you can play while riding in the car or train or bus for that matter. The wifi hotspot follows you! Welcome to 4G! Pretty cool stuff! more
