CLAWS AND PAWS ANIMAL HABITAT 8/31/2006

MY FAMILY I WERE ON VACATION IN THE POCONO'S AND SAW THIS SIGN FOR THIS ANIMAL RESERVE AND THOUGHT IT WOULD BE LIKE ALL THE OTHERS SO WE WENT ANYWAY JUST TO PASS TIME. WE HAD A GREAT TIME THERE, THEY HAD ALL KINDS OF ANIMALS SOME WE HAD SEEN BEFORE AND SOME WE HAD NOT SEEN. THEY HAD THE USUAL LIONS, TIGERS BEARS OH MY, BUT ALSO THINGS LIKE CAPPAYBURA'S AND OTHER EXOCTIC ANIMALS. WE HAD A BLAST AT THE FEEDING OF THE LORY'S AND SMALL COLORFUL BIRD. WE GOT TO GO INTO THEIR CAGE AND FEED THEM APPLES MY HUSBAND AND SON WERE THRILLED. THIS PLACE WAS CLEAN AND THERE WERE ATTENDANTS EVERYWHERE TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ANIMALS AND THERE HABITATS IN THE WILD AS WELL AS WHERE THEY CAME FROM ORIGINALLY. ALL ANIAMALS HAD SIGNS ON THERE HABITATS WITH LOTS OF INFORMATION ON THEM . I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ALL TO SEE AND ENJOY. more

Good day trip for kids! 9/17/2005

This is a little local animal park for kids of all ages. For it being out of the way and fairly small they have a big selections of animals. When last I checked they have a giraffe, tiger, monkey, and a cute petting zoo. It is not too much to get in and though the ride is long, it is through the beautiful countryside. The only problem is that the walkways are stone and dirt so it is a little difficult to navigate a stroller though the park. more

Expensive & not that nice 8/24/2005

This zoo is definately a tourist trap. It was pretty expensive when I went there a few years ago, at around $10 each to enter. The price has probably gone up since then. It is pretty cramped, not giving the animals or the visitors a lot of room to move around and enjoy themselves. They have all of the basic animals you would expect to find at a zoo, such as tigers, lions, monkeys, ect. I would just take my money and go to a more reputable place such as the Philadelphia zoo. more
