Someone shared with me the negative review for KAS, specifically towards the hair-dresser in question (Jenifer). First, after reading the comment from ""Dumbmaris1,"" I would suggest that this person spends more time and energy on their grammatical skills versus issuing slanderous and unwarranted comments about hard-working and skilled professionals. more

i have been going to this salon for years. kas is the best. i was surprised to see the Damaris1 review. it certainly is not consistant with my experiences. probably a situation of ""can't please everyone"". i do have to say i enjoyed the client 2 comments to the Damaris1 review. it all made sense after i read that. well, i love kathy adams salon!! more

Someone shared with me the negative review for KAS, specifically towards the hair-dresser in question (Jenifer). First, after reading the comment from "Dumbmaris1," I would suggest that this person spends more time and energy on their grammatical skills versus issuing slanderous and unwarranted comments about hard-working and skilled professionals. I have gone to KAS on several occasions and have specifically requested service from Jenifer. She is awesome! I have been to several salons and was elated to finally find a place with trained professionls like Jenifer. I know Jenifer is too classy a lady to respond to the "Dumbmaris1" comment, but definitely wanted to offer a balanced perspective, one that is not tainted with immaturity and lack of common respect and courtesy for people in general. If you want a great color and hair-cut, I strongly endorse KAS and if she is available and not overbooked due to her talents, then ask for Jenifer.....she is great! Interesting observation, I wonder why this "Dumbmaris1" kept coming back, time and time again, either she was very happy with her service or she was just trying to get something for nothing. Nothing negative towards this "Dumbmaris1," but you reap what you sow and also plenty of support for KAS and Jenifer. more

Very poor service!!! 10/4/2010

I went to this salon twice. First time just haircut,i had to go back the next day to fix it. Second time i had highlights and lowlights done.I told her exactly what i wanted and the end result was way lighter then i was expecting. Not happy!! made my 3rd appointment thinking i will try to look for another salon.i went home and made myself like it, so i dont have to mess with my hair too much at once.made the appointment with the same stylist,Jenifer Stavro, 6 weeks ahead of time. i get a call 3 days before my scheduled appointment, that she needs to reschedule me due to a personal issue. i said thats fine, even tho i had to rearrange my schedule to accommodate the change. i get a call in the morning of my appointment from Jenifer that she needs to reschedule me again because she doesnt have time to do my hair, she has 2 other clients at the same time with me.HOW NICE! i couldnt reschedule to the day she pick out the 3rd time,so she tells me we have to leave it for another time. REALLY???? What kinda service is this????? so i said i will call back(which i wansnt gonna).she didnt even try to make me another appointment and just said :OK, BYE BYE!!she couldnt care less if the salon loses me as a client, a good client that referred quite a few people.one of them just got her hair done there and was very much unhappy after her Kathy Adams experience. I called back to get the colors she used last time on me, so i know what i have in my hair now. the front office tells me Jenifer didnt even record the colors in :)) WOW girl! You really outdone yourself!! I asked to talk to the owner,to be refused by the front office person saying she can solve the problem. So i gave my 2 cents to her, and expected an apology, AT LEAST!! Never got a call from Jenifer with that apology. thats fine....I'll find a BETTER salon...much better one!! more

i love this place. i have been there a few times so far and had a differnent stylist each time b/c of my schedule. each time my hair turned out great.i can tell they know their stuff. i will be comming back soon! more

I have been going to Kathy Adams Salon since it opened inside Mall of Georgia many years ago. I moved to NYC, but since I loved this salon so much I refused to let anyone else touch my hair. I always waited until my Georgia visits to have my hair cut/colored. I love that they have ""new talent"", so students who are on a budget like me can still have their hair cut and colored at an affordable price. And most of the ""new talent"" have been doing hair for years, so, like most places, they're not actual students fresh out of school. The best part about Kathy Adams Salon is that they actually care about their customers. As with any business, mistakes are made, but when the staff at this salon do make mistakes, they are quick to offer solutions to resolve the situation. I have great respect for businesses who care for their long-time clients. In summary, I highly recommend this salon! more
