Totally uncaring place for sick people 1/3/2012

I have never felt so frustrated in my life. The nurses were alway too busy to answer a call button; then when they did check in, they were rude to the point that we had to ask for a change in one nurse. The aides and food service people were the nicest in the hospital. Someone in charge needs to teach a patient care course that deals with compassion and kindness. I hope we never need to return to this awful place. more

When ya gotta go- go here! 8/15/2006

Anytime you have to go to a hospital, it's never something to look forward to. However, sometimes you just gotta! I have had blood work, outpatient surgery and even my youngest daughter was born there. I have no reservations or complaints. They are constantly updating their facilities. Even in L&D, if the baby needs more intensive care, they are starting to be able to provide more and more of it onsite to prevent separating the parents/kids. They have shown themselves to be very family oriented. The staff is caring and friendly. more

Clark Memorial Hospital 8/13/2006

If you live in the Louisville/Southern Indiana area and are expecting a baby, Clark Memorial Hospital is where you need to go! I had a baby in 2005 at Baptist East and thought they were nice...that is, until I had my second baby at Clark Memorial earlier this month! I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Everyone was very warm and friendly and more than attentive to my needs. I felt like my birth plan was truely respected and I was encouraged during my labor. I will never give birth anywhere else! more
