Dr. Francis Clark---Lasik Surgeon 6/25/2011

I just had Lasik Surgery at Wills Eye hospital center with Dr. Francis Clark. It has been a life altering procedure! I feel like I am seeing in HD, and it is only 2 days after the surgery. The entire procedure took several minutes, and was totally plainless. All I can say is that this man performs miracles. I was sitting in the waiting room the first day after surgery with a room full of Lasik patients. They all related a similar experience of amazement.Dr. Clark is the most precise eye doctor I have seen, as I went for three other evaluations prior to picking him to do my surgery. The choice was easy. Posted on 6/26/2011 7:19:48 AM\r more

caring eye doctor! 6/18/2011

Several years ago my daughter became bedridden at home from a brain tumor. She became blind in 1 eye and developed a serious infection in the other eye. Since she was unable to travel to a doctor's office, I called our ophthalmologist to have him come to our house to see her, but he was ""too busy"". I called around and received the same answer. Until I called and asked to speak with Dr. Clark. He immediately said he would see her, and later that day he showed up. The infection had spread into her corneal tissue and he was concerned should would lose some vision from scar tissue, or even lose the eye. He started her on frequent antibiotics and saw her regularly for about 2 years. Initially he saw her a couple of times a week, then weekly. This went on for about two years as she couldn't completely close her eye from the brain tumor and was constantly at risk for infections and ulcers. She passed, but I know she was able to see me with her remaining eye thanks to Dr. Clark, for which I will always be grateful. I cry now as I type these words. To date I never received a bill from this man, only a kind letter when she passed away. \r more

Best eye surgeon in philadelphia 6/2/2011

I saw several eye doctors in the last year for problem of not seeing well in my left eye. I was given drops for dry eyes by one, another reommended cataract surgery. my family doctor sent me to see dr. Francis Clark, as his whole family sees him. Dr. Clark correctly diagnosed my problem as a pituitary tumor of the brain, which was easily removed through my nose by a wonderful neurosurgeon at abington hospital. My vision is greatly improved; i was told by my family doctor and the neurosurgeon that I would have gone blind if not for dr. Clark. Brilliant doctor with a very caring manner. more
