The people who actually take care of the patients at this place are great, but the managers all sit in their offices with their noses in the air. One of them ( the loud one with the bug eyes) actually complained to me that my mother in law kept coming in her office and bothering her every five minutes to talk ""nonsense"" to her and she moves her papers. She has dementia and that's what these people are supposed to specialize in. I pay over $3,000 a month for her to live there. As far as I'm concerned she can bother her all day long. I never see this ""manager"" who is supposed to be a nurse, actually doing anything with the patients. I have seen her ignore them when she walks by them and they try to talk to her. Before we moved her in there, they told us they do all these fun activitites with them, and they showed us this beautifully decorated room. The day we moved her into her room, there was a stripped bed and a chest of drawers.. period (not to mention the stains on the carpet). I am there all the time and I never see anybody doing any of those great fun activities. There is one nurse I like, who I only see in the evenings, but she hasn't been there very long. The only reason I haven't moved her out is because the staff, that actually do the hands on work with her, are very kind to her, and I know they are taking care of her. They are the reason this place is still open.
